OCEANFORM Named Finalist for Dockwalk’s Crew Creator Awards 2025

OCEANFORM has been named a finalist for Dockwalk’s Crew Creator Awards 2025 in the prestigious Enterprise of the Year category, which recognises innovative, for-profit businesses founded by former yacht crew.

Founded by Julie Jørgensen and William Nicholson, OCEANFORM was created from firsthand experience onboard with a mission to revolutionise the uniform industry through an overhaul of innovation.

Since launching in January 2024, the company has worked with renowned superyachts, been featured in major publications and has partnered with big industry brands challenging outdated norms and offering a modern, responsible, and streamlined approach to yacht wear.

A one-stop-shop

One of the biggest issues in the sector is not being able to find a brand that hosts exceptional products, from head to toe, at competitive prices and availability. In just twelve months from launch, OCEANFORM has established over eleven globally recognised, quality brand partners, from Allbirds and Tropicfeel to Henri Lloyd and Musto.

Providing our clients with a range of hand selected brands to add to their OCEANFORM collections has been a top priority. For us to start R&D into deep sea foul weather gear or high performance footwear makes no sense. We would rather collaborate with the people that have been doing it exceptionally for decades and so we have.” – William, Co-founder.

Re-defining sustainability or as we call it, responsibility.

One year in, OCEANFORM is now the leading brand for responsible crew uniform.

Producing our own collections, On and Off charter, everything from yarn to end packaging is produced locally, in the north of Portugal”.
-Julie, Co-founder.

Using recycled fabrics that often include plastics from the ocean to eco-friendly fabric finishes and factories that use up to 100% renewable energy. OCEANFORM spent the entirety of 2023 building industry-leading supply chains and has proven that fashion can be more responsible.

In addition to significantly reducing air miles, water waste in the manufacturing of fabrics by 90%, carbon emissions and use of harmful chemicals, OCEANFORM has built a supply chain with fair trade at the core. Manufacturing in the EU means they have strict codes of conduct for good working conditions and fair pay. OCEANFORM has this backed by over a dozen supplier and manufacturer certifications.

A year for growth

This recognition marks a significant milestone as OCEANFORM continues to push the boundaries of design, responsibility, and functionality in a sector poised for disruption. With a cross-sector strategy that is already reaching luxury resorts globally, increased market presence in the yachting sphere, and new product and service lines, 2025 is already on track to be a year of exponential growth.
