Electric marine startup Pollentia opens $5M fundraising round

Pollentia, the electric marine startup redefining sustainable boating, has announced the opening of a $5 million fundraising round to accelerate development, manufacturing, and go-to-market efforts across the U.S. marine industry.

The company is seeking investment from funds and individuals focused on EV, deeptech, transportation, and marine innovation, as it enters a critical phase of scaling.

Pollentia’s round comes at a time of intense momentum for the company, with strategic manufacturing partnerships in motion, new model development underway, and expanding relationships with both public and private sector stakeholders.

Funds raised will support the production of Pollentia’s first official models, expansion of its U.S. charging infrastructure, and the continued refinement of its next-gen powertrain and battery systems in partnership with a veteran electric propulsion supplier.

Manufacturing is already underway for our first official models,” said Tyler Temple, Founder and CEO of Pollentia. “We’ve left behind our initial prototype refit to fully focus on the next chapter, launching the Ventus line, our first generation of purpose-built electric boats.

“This includes the Ventus Sport 30 ft, the Cruiser 25 ft, and the Compact 20 ft, with pricing starting at $250K. These boats represent not just innovation, but a new era of clean, quiet, low-maintenance marine experiences for both recreational and commercial users.”

A teaser for the Ventus line will be revealed early next year, with a full public unveiling planned for 2026. In parallel, Pollentia is working to establish a network of boat charging stations across the United States in partnership with national infrastructure groups.

Pollentia’s rise has been marked by increasing recognition from some of the world’s most respected innovation platforms. The company was personally invited to South by Southwest by Capital Factory, and has since been onboarded into its accelerator program. It will pitch at Capital Factory’s high-profile investor showcase on April 3rd in Austin, TX.

The electric marine startup has also emerged as a voice in the growing conversation around clean marine policy. The company was invited to Clean Energy Week in Rhode Island to speak directly with U.S. lawmakers, including members of Congress and the Senate, on the future of electric boating and infrastructure.

The team also recently met with Congressman Lloyd Doggett of Texas and is engaged in ongoing discussions with Congressman Gabe Amo, Congressman Mike Lawler, and other federal policymakers.

Pollentia is now preparing for a Capitol Hill visit to advance national incentives for electric boats, including infrastructure investments, tax credits, and domestic manufacturing support. The company is also in dialogue with international governments on global adoption and ecosystem development.

Additional accolades include an invitation to speak at UC Berkeley by the Sustainable Innovation Council, a private event attended by leaders from top-tier unicorn companies, and acceptance into the prestigious NVIDIA Inception program, which supports startups leveraging AI and advanced technologies to solve global challenges.

Behind the scenes, Pollentia is undergoing a light brand refresh that reflects its Texan roots and people-first vision. “Pollentia was always about people, people like us, and people like you, who want a better experience on the water,” said Tyler. “Our mission is to make boating cleaner, quieter, simpler, and more sustainable for the next generation.”
