Roxen Innovations opens investment round to scale eltra-light electric watercraft

Swedish company Roxen Innovations, developer of the ultra-light electric personal watercraft ROXEN 01, has opened an investment round to support its next phase of growth. The company aims to expand production, grow its international dealer network, and develop new models for leisure and professional users.

The ROXEN 01 is approximately four times lighter than the lightest traditional personal watercraft, combining portability, electric propulsion, and advanced battery technology. Every element—from the driveline to the app and battery system—has been designed in Sweden by a team dedicated to creating watercraft that are both fun and environmentally responsible.

We’ve created something that’s exhilarating, silent, and more kind to the environment compared to traditional personal watercrafts. Now we’re looking for partners who share our green vision and want to help bring it to more people around the world,” said Magnus Sundstedt, Co-Founder and CEO of Roxen Innovations.

Safety and certification

The ROXEN 01 battery meets the highest international standards, with CE certification and UN 38.8 approval, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance from design to transport. This certification underscores Roxen Innovations’ commitment to producing high-quality, commercially viable electric watercraft.

Investment objectives

Funding will support scaling production to meet growing demand, expanding Roxen’s international dealer community, and developing additional models tailored for both leisure and professional applications. The company also plans to strengthen its brand as a lifestyle choice for water enthusiasts who value sustainability and performance.

Roxen Innovations has already received international recognition for its design and innovation. The company was nominated for the Innovation Route at the Cannes Yachting Festival and won Innovation of the Year at the Stockholm Boat Show. Early sales have generated significant interest worldwide, reflecting a growing community of environmentally conscious early adopters who value cleaner, more sustainable alternatives for water recreation.

The company’s long-term vision is to become a global leader in electric watercraft, making sustainable water mobility mainstream while protecting the oceans that inspired the innovation. Roxen Innovations aims to combine performance, safety, and environmental responsibility, demonstrating that electric personal watercraft can offer the same excitement and accessibility as traditional craft without the environmental impact.

With the new investment, Roxen Innovations is positioned to accelerate international growth, bring its ultra-light electric watercraft to more users, and expand its product range to meet evolving market needs.
