Yacht rentals have entered mainstream travel discovery.
BOATSCRIBE has become the first yacht-rental metasearch platform integrated into Google Maps via Google Things To Do, allowing travellers to discover and compare yacht charters directly inside the map interface.
The integration places yacht rentals alongside flights, attractions, and experiences, introducing maritime tourism into the same discovery ecosystem that powers global travel planning.
When users view marinas on Google Maps, they can now see live yacht availability, real-time pricing, and direct booking links under the “Booking options” section, available on both web and mobile.
BOATSCRIBE aggregates structured yacht data from multiple charter operators, including availability calendars, pricing, and vessel attributes, and maps it to Google’s schema requirements. This enables yachts, a historically opaque and fragmented category, to function like any modern travel product.
“If Google Things To Do accepts your inventory, your architecture is clean,” said Illia Kolomoiskyi, CEO and Co-Founder of BOATSCRIBE.
“This integration validates our data pipeline and positions yacht rentals as a first-class travel product inside Google Maps, where discovery actually begins.”
The first live listing is visible on Google Maps at Ece Marina in Fethiye, Türkiye. BOATSCRIBE plans to expand coverage across Greece, Croatia, Spain, and additional Turkish marinas through early 2026.
For the yacht industry, the opportunity is top-of-funnel scale. Google Maps captures high-intent travellers already exploring popular touristic destinations like Mallorca, Split, or Lefkada, long before they search for charter brokers or agency websites.
By surfacing yachts at this stage, BOATSCRIBE is reframing yacht rentals from a specialist product into a standard travel use case.
